What's in a diary?
What's in a week - good question?
A while ago a Poco user (not in Australia) contacted me regarding which week was WK 1. I have been using the standard which has the week with January 1st in it as being WK 1. Another standard has WK 1 commencing the week which has 4 or more days of January in it i.e from Thursday (known as ISO 8601). 2009 is the same for both these standards so was 2008 and 2007. But in 2010 they diverge. You'll see at the end of your 09 diary 2010 become Wk 1 or 53. I made contact with standards Australia but there is no clear choice in Australia. Sometime this year I will have to adopt one or other of the standards for 2010. Well in July I adopted the ISO 8601 If you need to use the non ISO standard just add 1 to any of the WK numbers in your poco.
