There are over 350 event listings in the Week to a View and Day to a Page personal size diaries. There are less in the pocket size due to the smaller space available. The planners use symbols to indicate public holidays and a few important dates from the Holdiay page included (a star). Full moons are shown as a dot. Full moons are also included in the main diaries.
Poco Profile started in 1989 listing just national public and school holidays - in 1994 the pandora's box of Aussie events was opened and now the diaries contain a "mixed bag" of events - sporting, religious, arts, novelty, charity etc - hopefully they don't get in your way! They are not intended to be a definitive list of what goes on - there are some big ones and some little ones and many in between - so much goes on! You could think of your Poco Profile as a sampler, or maybe you will find something you'd like to attend - we do...!
Each event organiser has been contacted for confirmation of dates. However, changes can occur, so if you want to make sure, or if you just want further information please don't hesitate to contact Poco Profile and we can point you in the right direction.
And if you know of something to suggest for next year please don't hesitate to send it in (before August current year). No money (or kind) is accepted in return for listing an event. Sponsor names are not usually mentioned unless it's a charity event.
CORRECTION
2009 Week to View Personal Size
Picnic at Hanging Rock in Victoria, which has been in the diary since events were first included, somehow slipped into Tues 24th Feb - it is the Sunday before - the 22nd. This is in the Week to View personal size only. All others are correct.
